Looks like BMW have redesigned the tail lights on the 3er. The top strip of white colored light graphic looks like fake masking tape to give us the impression that the shape of the tail lights are unchanged.

Yes, and that makes me very happy because I love the X6 tail lights. Nice to know that the tail lights are getting a redesign after all. Hopefully the head lights will be similar to that ones on the E92, that should makes the car very fresh and attractive.

It would surprise me if the shape of the tailights changes.
For me, only the graphics inside will be modified. It's high time, these tailights are the worst ever put on a German car for me.

It would have justify to fire Bangle and his team, so ugly it is. Never understood these old Mazda things. I know the shape had to change because of the FL A4, but here they were completely drunk when they designed it, and the BoD had no glasses this day.

The lights you can buy as accessories are the lights BMW should have put on the car, they knew the originals were ugly so they offered another design as BMW parts...

Just put these BMW parts as redesign of the tailights and the design of the 3-Series becomes 500% better.

PS according to swedish dealers the first facelifted 3er will be delievered in sept/okt 2008
