I was told quite a while ago E90 platform is not designed to feature active suspension systems (eg EDC, ARS etc). So no EDC button is likely - like in M6 / M6, X5.
Even the facelifted 5er didn't get EDC system despite M5 has it, and E60 platform is able to feature it.
Perhaps facelifted 3er will get a Sport button ala Z4: to enhance steering & throtle response + perhaps less involving DSC setting.
I'm eager to see which will be the first model with DPC system: X6 or facelifted 3er perhaps?
Regarding 3er facelift: a while ago I was told Spring 2008. Yet perhaps BMW want to implement new HPI engines more quickly & speed up the facelift process - to offer it in Fall 2007 already.
I'll try to find out more in the next day (most probably early next week).
