I know what you're have been through. When I lived in SoCal and rarely went up to LA, the traffic was just unbearable. The nightmare was always at around 16:00-20:00, absolute madness. Some times it took like 1.5-2 hours just to get home while I if drove home at 02:00 it took a mere 40min. What exhausted me mor was the fact that I had a manual transmission.
