Lexus markets their hybrids as fuel-efficient and low emission cars in Germany. They're being honest with the low emission part, but they're hiding a major factor when they talk about fuel economy. Never once in their ads do they talk about how the hybrid is at an advantage in urban driving. They're trying to market the car as an all-round fuel-efficient vehicle. Um, NO.
The Aurion looks pretty good though. Much more interesting and sportier than the Camry. |
Lexus/Toyota surely made the RX400h sounds like the engineering miracle and the solution to all our problems, the ad has no official fuel consumption figures, or emission figures but it is the
"champion of green automotive technology for tomorrow'' And people just believe that.
The Aurion Sports and the TRD version looks above average, the standard version is almost as boring as the Camry.
