It feels like the C-Hatch was released earlier than 2001. I recall seeing a campaign for that car in the US as far back as late 1999. Maybe I'm wrong.

This is a throughly impressive facelift, and a depressing indictment of Mercedes' bean-counters for spawning sub-par product. I really thought this car was going to be a W204 hatch.
