If this is an early peek at the future of supercars, then count me in. Yep, the performance characteristics of a diesel would take some getting used to, but that seductive, that sophisticated, that fine a handling car, with ground-ripping torque and 25mpg sounds like the future is very very bright.
I think Audi bypassing the Lambo engine and going with the TDI for the R8 is just brilliant.
