I was thinking, the 12 piston calipers are an over-kill. They could develope a set of ceramic brakes could work just as well as the standard ones but with half the complexity and reduce weight.
I would really like to know the engineering specs for this because normally 6 to 8 pistons are enough to cover a sufficient swept area of the disc while generating enough clamping pressure.
