Yes, The 50i is the new TT V8, the 35i is the TT I6.The X6 in your pic's is clearly the 50i TTV8-Rectangular exhaust tips and the Silver/chrome front grille.All these are the markings of the 50i,unless someone at BMW is really trying to fake us out
