That's a bit like playing Russian roulette to me and I believe this is the biggest difference between the two camps, RWD vs. AWD. It's all a matter of which way you get your fun - not that any way is better - and I don't think for one moment that BMW's dynamics are any better than Audi's. Entertainment (under certain circumstances) perhaps, but not their ability.
That not entire correct. I have a good example which all of can relate to and that's bicycles. When we were younger we all used training wheels and what they offer is more grip and better stability. But just like an AWD system it affects the steering and once you take them off you realize that despite the stability and grip, they restrict your freedom.

From all the reviews I've read, no journalist have praised the RS6. The combination of weight, size and AWD makes the car sure footed but does restrict the fun and freedom for those who know how to play with a car of such power.

At the end of the day Audi's will always be a bit behind Porsche and BMW when it comes to excitement and driving pleasure. Although Audi's AWD system has it's benefits it can feel like an annoying nanny for some. And also, just because a car is RWD doesn't mean that it's dangerous and has the potential of easily losing control of the rear.
