Not a surprise though. V12 TDI engine is a very heavy piece of machine, so the weight does compromise the performance quite much.

Eg.

X6 xDrive50i (407HP; 600Nm): 0-100km/h in 5.4 seconds, consuming in average 12.5L gasoline per 100km.

Q7 V12 TDI (500HP; 1000Nm): 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds, consuming in average 11.9L diesel per 100km.
