Kevin Rice is not the man who has designed 1-series.

He is just a project leader of 1er exterior design (coordinating exterior design tasks linked to all models within 1-series).

1er hatch was designed by Chris Chapman (eg. also penned E53 X5, x-Coupe concept), while 1er coupe & cabrio were designed by Marc Michael Markefka - the same guy who designed E92/3 3er coupe & cabrio.
