In the production timetable we received a few months ago, the 35i production was being started in mid-December '07 whilst 35d production was starting in early January '08. X50i production is not due to start until May '08, so I expect you will not see many X50i models driving around until nearer that time. |
DoctorD, I appreciate the info.Like most Americans,I'm not thinking diesel when I talk about engines. Shame on me.Hopefully,that will change over time here in the states.The full production X6's I've seen around town are the 35i's.That's what all the side badges have shown.None of the badged cars I've seen have had the little "d" indicating diesel.The unbadged testers would be hard to tell apart,save the grill.I'll keep an eye out for the titanium grill.I've got some good contacts at the plant and I'll ask where they actually are on the production timeline regarding the different models.Thanks!
