Re: Drive Safe, Drive Responsibly: Airborne M5 Kills Five - 01-30-2008, 05:29 AM

It is a horrible story...Five young lives taken...Tragic.

Driving a car is really much more than just taking the wheel...it is still dangerous, it needs to be responsible and reasonable. A lot of people are forgetting that, and drive without thinking to the driving...

It shows that even with all the airbags and crashzones and ESP...speed kills.

It makes me think to another crash...it was an AMG W211 E-Class, crashed on the rear of a big truck... The car was completely under the truck, no chance to survive. The speedo was blocked at 210 km/h...

No matter how good and safe the car is, if the driver is not responsible and drives thast fast, it endanger its life and life of others.

There was also the crash whereas the Gumball3000, with the two mens in a Porsche 997 that killed a man and his wife in an old VW Golf I...

Speed kills, no matter what you think or do...speeding on the road or at unsafe places just kills. And sucks.

It's so sad...
