and insurance is high in Sweden too, my dad drive a BMW as well but he pay a high insurance costs although he is 57 years old. Just insane what insurance companies steal from us. |
Luw is right. Most of the folks are in debt. Most of those guys in M3 post are HUGE minority (oxymoron, yes, I know). I've been out to quite a few meets here in cali. Most of the owners are usually in their early 30s and onwards. Most of the young crowd can be broken up into 3 segments:
1. Got good grades, got a nice degree and got a high paying job - usually not married.
2. Rich kids whose parents will buy them anything.
3. Live in appartment/parent house, has a normal job, spends all the money on car and saves none.
When I had my M3...I fell into the #3 category. I'd rather not be in debt and have an OK car than be in an ocean of debt and have a nice car. currently, I'm somewhere in the middle...LOL
