Ah nice... A car I know something about ;-)
It looks to be exactly the color I have, Taub Blau, or Dove Bleu in correct English. Judging by the cover on the dashboard it has spend to much time in the sun though. On my European 944 S2 I have some minor cracks, but dashboards of those age are known for this issue.
It's a 3.0 liter 4 cilinder 16 valve engine, one of the bigger 4 cilinder engines. It requires "expensive" maintenance with distribution/tension belts etc. And in addition it requires a change in chain and hydraulic chain tensioner. Both are fairly expensive maintenance actions. However I didn't experience any other major expensive issues in the last three years, apart from the regular expensive Porsche stuff (Brakes...)
The 944 Convertible with S2 engine is rare, but the 944 Turbo Convertible is even rarer.
This particular model has some big gaps in the panel fit on the nose, I think it has bumped into something and it has not been fixed correctly. |
