Re: Official: BMW X6 - 12-15-2007, 07:47 PM

Although I mostly love it, I'm still not sold on the rear of this car... but then again, it looked fat in the concept and people still praised it as the best design element of the car so maybe it's just me ... (and The Artist ).
I'm disappointed it got the heavy gene from X5. 2.2 tons ? That's gotta be the heaviest "coupe" ever!
Despite that and the fact that the interior is almost c/p from X5, there's something irrational about me that just loves this car. Now for the rational side of the brain to manufacture some creative reasons why I should one day get it.
It's great to hear about the V8 tt, it should become the popular choice in other models as soon as offered. Autocar even cites 22.6 mpg or 12.5 l/100 km, which is very good for a car the size and weight of X6. Wonder if it's a mild hybrid? I'd love to see BMW develop a similar high end 8 cylinder TT diesel... now that would be awesome.
