I know what you think, vedjo. It's an excuse for not beating M3 but I don't think this is the case. What I think has happened is that with the C 63 Mercedes has gone as hardcore as possible without losing it's traditional customers. BMW on the other hand has chosen to make the M3 more all-round, more comfortable and less hardcore. I think they've done this because they think that this way it appeals to much wider audience. On the other hand, this may have cost them losing the customers who loved E46's hardcore attitude. This clientele is targeted with the M3 CSL.
