| Mercedes-Benz reports high demand for CLS-Class -

From: Canadiandriver Stuttgart, Germany – Mercedes-Benz reports that its CLS-Class is performing extremely well, with more than 50,000 units sold worldwide since the vehicle's sales launch on October 2, 2004. The CLS-Class has a base price of $92,600 in Canada and combines the appearance of a coupe with the practicality of a four-door sedan.
The CLS-Class' largest market is the U.S., where 13,600 units were sold, followed by Germany, which accounts for more than 20 per cent of global sales. More than 40 per cent of global customers opt for the CLS 500, which is one of two variations sold in Canada, alongside a supercharged CLS 55 AMG version. Worldwide, the second-most popular is the CLS 350, followed by a high-performance diesel CLS 320 CDI, launched in May 2005.  |
