Pistonheads is a historically bitter group; their review of the 135i shows they aren't overly disappointed, which is a plus for everyone that isn't expecting an //M1 CSL tii <---LOL.
I'm wondering what they mean by "once the initial and quite pronounced understeer has been worked through, the chassis has a nicely neutral feel to it." Do they mean that the tires suck that much but the suspension is actually tuned nicely? This is giving me flashbacks to the factory runflats on the Cooper S...those were CRAP tires!
I'm also not convinced on the hydraulic steering rack. I would LOVE it if the 135i came with one, but I want proof! Pictures of the reservoir would help! |
