C 180 Kompressor

+ satisfactory perfomance, low-vibration engine, moderate fuel consumption, good price
- gentle "passage", grumpy at higher revs, manual transmission is imprecise, sparly equipped

C 200 Kompressor

+ noticeable better elasticity then the C 180, though the fuel consumption isn't higher, lower volume inside the car, very good running costs
- grumpy at higher revs, in combination with the automatic transmission: bad respond at the accelerator pedal

C 220 CDI

+ very good expansion of the power, powerful and cultivated engine, nice and smooth automatic, the most efficient C-Class (price, running costs)
- cold engine and under full throttle grumpy, not the best fuel enconomy
