490 hp sounds pretty great for the V8 TT! Perfect, in fact.
As for the current V12...Tycoon, I've always thought it was severely underpowered. Right from the start. And it's a damn shame, because it probably is the best V12 in production, and is capable of so much more.
For the next V12, I think 550 hp is the minimum.
So 350 hp for the V8 TT diesel, and 490 hp for the V8 TT gasoline...The Diesel looks a bit underpowered actually. The difference has always been much less (286 hp vs 306 hp and 330 hp vs 367 hp) But then again, the current V8 4.8 is an old, NA engine, so.....
