It would appear that the A3 is nothing more than a passing curiousity stateside. Then again, compact hatches like the A3 aren't a transportation staple here like they are in Germany and the rest of Europe. It's really a shame that Audi gets such a tough break in the US.
Hopefully sales will be really poor... then I can slime my way into a smoking hot deal at the Audi dealership!
Personally I find the A3 to be an extremely attractive car. What's nice is that the car looks every bit as sharp and expensive as the rest of the Audi lineup. Nothing about it makes you think "budget" when you put it up against the rest of its siblings. The 1er certainly looks more "dynamic" than the A3, but weather or not it looks better or not is heavily dependent upon how it's hooked up. A non-xenon 1er with hubcappy wheels can look pretty drab whereas one with all the fixins' looks great. |
