Frankfurt Show: Audi A4 e Concept

As soon as we confirmed that we we’re actually looking at the 2008 Audi A4 and not its predecessor (…), we noticed that one of the vehicles on Audi’s Frankfurt Show stand was badged as the “A4 e Concept”. Apparently “e” stands for both efficient and eco-friendly as the concept is equipped with a brand-new 2.0 TDI turbo-diesel engine, consuming a mere 4,9litres of fuel for every 100 Km (48,8 mpg). At the same time the “A4 2.0TDi e” features CO2 emissions of just 129 g/km -that's less than the E.U.'s 2012 limit. -Continued after the jump <SPAN lang=EN-US style="FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma">
