If they came with a different design for the cabrio the hatch & SB would instantly look dated. So, IMO, the design will stay almost the same.

Perhaps with new Mk3 A3 the cabrio will get extensive facelift - to fit in the Mk3 A3 family better.


Same case with 1er coupe & cabrio: I wonder what will happen with these cars when Mk2 1er hatch arrives.





PS: today my coworker said Audi design could be labeled as "Triple B" (BBB): "Beautiful But Boring"
