As far as I know the new RS4 will be slated for 2009 arrival. The current 08s are being built for delivery on an order only basis and the new A4 will be arriving in US showrooms by the end of 2007/early 2008. 450 HP is a reasonable expectation given the current engine platform, however the biggest change that I think might be expected is a change to the new VW group DSG transmission which seems to be winning over the hearts and minds of many a manual afficionado. Time will tell. I , for one, do not mind given the slickness of the current gearbox and lightning fast changes one can undertake with the least bit of hesitation.
