E92 > A5

E92 335i < S5
To put things into perspective I'll give my own version of Luw's inequality:

S5>>>>>>>>>>>>E92 335. Now I said the E92 looks "plain elegant", what I meant when I said that is not "it's so incredibly elegant", but more so it's the plain, basic, ordinary interpretation of elegance in a 21st century coupe. Not to say it's a bad looking car(surely not) but it's not as visually arresting as the S5, which is full of details the E92's design lacks. It looks rich, elegant, purposeful, and sporty; A highly trained athlete ready for track duty(we'll have to wait for an RS5 for that, for now the S5 is confined to "cruise missile").
