I understand where you're coming from warot...but for me I don't think that's the case. The M5 to me looks great in all of its colours, black, white, blue, even Indiannapolis Red and Sepang Bronze...so for me personally, whether the car has a light colour or a dark colour doesn't really matter. With this white M6, I think the reason why I like it so much over all the other colours that I've seen the M6 in is because the contrast between the white colour and the wheels is not that great. For me the M6 wheels aren't that great. I totally understand the 'theory' or the thinking behind the design of the wheels, but compared to the M5 wheels, the M6 wheels just aren't that exciting or interesting.
So with the white colour, it kind of masks the disappointment of the wheels in my eyes.
..and oh, ofcourse, it makes the M6 looks classy...and further highlights that black carbon-fibre roof.
