I was sort of expecting that they'd hate such a display of engineering arrogance in the face of the difficulties of making it perform and work; that it was delayed so much and then was a bit of a let down after it came out - after all, it's still just a car, albeit a very fast one. Or maybe that's just me

Then again, reading some of the test drives of the Veyron, I suppose its sheer brawn is just impressive.

In either case, it's a car you either love or hate.
