New Audi Allroad is coming! - 11-29-2005, 02:05 PM

With a number of new high profile introductions planned for 2006, Audi will be aiming to achieve their fifth successive record sales year. Building on their current year performance, with registrations running in excess of 30 percent above last year’s record level, the plan will be to prepare the ground for a succesful celebration of 40 years of Audi in Ireland which occurs in 2007. Leading the 2006 range of Audi arrivals will be the re-styled, four-seater, open-top Audi A4 Cabriolet which is due here in January. Described as ‘a car for all seasons’ the A4 Cabriolet will come with a choice of five engines, three of which will be offered in this model for the very first time. In Summer, their new Q7 high performance sports utility vehicle will make its appearance on the Irish market in 5 and 7-seat versions with a choice of engines ideal for Irish market conditions. Leading the model offering will a 3.0-litre, 233 bhp TDI with tiptronic transmission and quattro permanent four wheel drive. A 4.2-litre petrol version will also be available at launch. Other Audi introductions for 2006 include high performance S8 and S6 models due in late Spring and a new Allroad scheduled for June.
