My friend, have you seen the legroom in the rear seat? 4 adults will not fit in there and make in a long drive. Although those seats are amazing seats, they take a lot of space. Simple as that.
We can only assume how fast the BMW will be. My guess is that it will be the same result as the last generation. The M3 is the "true" sportscar while the RS4 blew the doors out when the track is wet. Clarkson talked about V8 and AWD a lot. The RS4 is a brand new car! How can you compare it to the E46 M3.
Here's my comparo, maybe it's accurate, maybe not.
Audi. 4.2 liter V8 at 420hp and
BMW. 5.0 liter V10 at 507, which means that the speculated V8 4.0 liter can be:
(507/ 5)4 = 405.6 hp.
I think that that is being quite conservative as well. Anyway, don't get me wrong, I believe that the RS4 is an absolute bargain and it definitely looks the part (the best looking Audi hands down). But do not think write out M///.
