Somehow don't see sales being a good criteria for judging this. Some excellent alternate bands (which are not sales oriented) but have a huge cult following are left out of this list.....e.g. Phish, String Cheese Incident etc...
and what's with the Black Eyed Peas coming in at 100 as one of the greatest rock acts of all time !...????
