You don't need to be a BMW stalwart like i am to say i'm not buying it. I don't and i won't believe that this is true. And very soon i'll try it myself and if it's true, everything what they've said, i'll appologize and withdraw everything i've said. Above quote wasn't the case even with old X5, so CanDriver won't fool me with this crap. |
Whats the point? You aren't going to find fault with the car when you drive it anyway.
I can surely understand that you don't agree with what they found, but to instantly label the review "pathetic" is ridiculous when you clearly haven't driven the car for yourself and/or don't know what conditions they drove the vehicle in.
For example a lot of U.S. magazines complained about the ride of the previous X5, especially those that test in and around Detroit. Why? Because the roads in Detroit are horrible, but the testers in other states like California loved the previous X5. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the review, but man this instant disqualification of the reviews is just plain ridiculous IMO.
As far as her age goes, a lot of magazines especially U.S. magazines are run by folks her age and two of them in particular (Car and Driver and Automobile) love, absolutely love BMWs.
