In the odd idle moment, mere mortals like me are prone to a bit of day dreaming, and just sometimes flights of fancy become airborne. Given the choice, a sudden influx of finances would have me heading in the direction of a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Jaguar XK Convertible. And I probably wouldn’t stop there.

Other requirements include something sensible that I could park at the kerbside, not wash for weeks, get more than one passenger in, and wouldn’t need refuelling at every other corner. Something like the Audi A6, a car that fits in anywhere and will take almost anything you throw at it.
