You know... I've found myself to be quite board w/ the design of the W221 as well. I saw one this morning as I was getting into my car heading out for the day... nothing too remarkable about it other than the wheels. All the exaggerated shapes will wear quickly, especially those huge wheel flares. I think Audi's (the new crop) will end up looking much like Italian classic exotics today, tomorrow.
