Also i have to say that RS5 won't have the same engine with RS4. The number i have heard is between 450-480 hp which is easily achievable by the use of the 5.2 lt V10 engine.
I honestly will be surprised if we see the 5.2 litre V10 in the RS5 just for a mere 30-60 hp increase, and perhaps a 70 ft-lbs increase in torque.
The increase in weight will be approximately 260 lbs all going to the front end of the car.
The potential weight to power ratio improvement with the V10 engine is less than 1%, and the weight/torque improvement of about 14%.
With regards to the dynamics of the car, I am not sure how this will improve the handling of the RS5, and are they willing to take this risk?
Weighing the pros and cons of the options, I will guess that Audi will stick with the same engine of the RS4.
