Is this a 'planned' facelift of the M5 or was it a 'forced' one due to the fact that the 5er facelift was ready? I ask this because the M5 hasn't been out for all that long.. so it's a little strange to have a facelift this soon. When introducing new design solutions (like eg. new headlight & rearlight graphics, interior layout enhancements, etc) then all variants get them. Do you think BMW (or BMW suppliers) will still built & supply old parts for M5 only? No way.
Same thing is happening with E81 introduction: E87 is getting a facelift simultaneously.
