I drove a BMW M5 today and I have a confession. My father doesn’t let me drive a car not even a cheap one. My uncles don’t seem to have a problem with it and they let me drive their cars when I ask them to. Anyway this friend brought an M5 home it belongs to his friend and he lend it to him for a day.

Here is the thing, I drove an E55 AMG and a CLS55 AMG and I thought they were great. You don’t understand what torque is until you floor it in an AMG. You get a great kick in the back and the speed increases amazingly fast. But the driving the M5 today made me change my mind about M cars. I don’t care how an SL65 AMG goes or how it feels to drive, an M5 or M6 blows your mind more than any car AMG made.

When you hold the steering wheel in the M5, you feel every vibration in the car and you feel any single **** thing that happens to the car. The car is so stable on the road at any speed and the sound tingles your spine and impresses your ears. It’s not that loud but it’s a nice sound, Like an F1 car. The gearchanges when it’s in Automatic are very slow and it hurts your head and neck whilst changing. You can’t just get in and drive, you have to set everything to how you want it to be. I think you can save all the options on the M-button and when you press it, it turns your saved settings.

My friend save the best settings on the M-button and when you press it, everything changes. You get a head-up display telling you what gear you’re in and what speed you’re going. You could never feel the true pleasure of driving until you’re in an M-Powered car. An AMG car can make you hear it’s sound echo through your ears when you’re not in the car but, an M-Powered car makes you imagine you’re driving the car when not in it. Any chair you sit on, you think it’s an M5 and you wonder why doesn’t this chair have a bolster that holds you in the bends. Let me just say "Doesn't matter what you've got doesn't matter what you've ever driven, this is quicker, it's faster, it's more astonishing" (Jeremy Clarkson). He couldn’t express how good it is.
