I suppose it depends on how long the owner is willing to wait for the automobile to be made, I remember hearing when the 612 Scaglietti came out the waiting list was two years (!) long. I know Lamborghini has already sold out two years worth of LP640 so the Gallardo waiting list is probably huge too. |
So I guess 'limited production' actually means that the length of the waiting list. The longer the waiting list, the more limited the production (ceteris paribus). Limited production gives the impression that potential buyers might never get their car.
