I personally plan on driving a Ferrari Enzo but living in a cardboard box. Perhaps others have decided to follow in my footsteps.
In all seriousness though, spending a lot of money are your car may turn out to be a better investment that you think. I understand that from a resale standpoint, it may not be the best call, but for many people, they spend so much time in their car that it might as well be a second home. Imagine driving 1.5 hours to work in the morning and then driving back at the end of the day. A lot of people do it. If you're going to be spending a large amount of your day in your car, possibly more than you spend at home aside from sleeping, having a nice car makes sense. I say you should spend money on things you use and if you get a lot of use out of your car, get one you're going to really enjoy. |
