i cannot but have a feeling that money could have been far better spent in much more useful projects by MB that to attept to regain the luster on such a project, that i dare not describe as a miserable failure
I agree that this isn't going to save Maybach, but you said that the 57S gave Maybach sales a boost? Do you have any numbers on this, I've been dying to know if the 57S indeed made a difference?

I still can't help but think this and the 57S is what both Maybachs should have been in the first place. Even the oddly proportioned 62 looks better with the new grille/wheels.
