And does anyone here wished the E90 looked as good as the E92 and E93? Knowing that the E92 and E93 were derived directly from the E90, it made me think "I wish they incorporated design elements from the E92 to the E90". I had the same thoughts when the E46 range came out. |
I predict that the hard-top will give the cabrio platform a shot in the arm, but as Mirage said - the price difference is pretty substantial. It's just expensive enough that you'd have to ask yourself, "do I
really need a drop-top?"
Personally, if I was ready to buy a E92, I'd be hard pressed
not to spend extra and go for the E93. Still, I think the coupe will remain the order of the day.
I don't really have any misgivings about the E90's lines. I'm still not happy with how they've handled sedan's rear light details, but otherwise I think the coupe and sedan have a very good relationship in BMW's lineup. This is the most distinctive generation of 3ers, with a great deal of separation now between the sedan/kombi and coupe/cabrio. I can't complain.
