I'm a fan of the 3er coupe myself but despite the unique tail lights the car is still just a 3er coupe while the CL is it's own coupe rather then an S-class coupe. With AMG kit the CL has "it"-factor and is a show stopper that would attract a crowd of a handful of people anywhere it stands. That is something that the 335i can't do since it only is a 3-series.
Looking at the both interior and exterior pictures of the white CL I can't express with word how stunning the car is. Such remarkable creations doesn't come around every month. MB has done a fantastic job.
