Don't get me wrong, the 135i is still a great machine and I would not mind having one. But. It is not enough in the current state of the segment.

The direct (based on with what the other manufacturers tops their ranges) competition of the 135i comprise of cars like the RS3, TT-RS, SLK AMG and BS... objectively, the 135i seems more built to compete with models like the SLK 350 and something between the TT 2.0T/3.2 and the TT-S - never mind the TT-RS.

I agree. In fact, if the SuperSports is a bust, I will pick up a 135i and just add the BMW performance tune. Please dont send me that way BMW.
