  | My understanding from the 1addicts forum is that this potential "Supersport" version of the 1 series will come with the next generation 1 series. There will not be "Supersport" 1 series for the current car. However, there are already a number of "Performance" parts available for the current 1 series, and even an upcoming new BMW engine tune for the 135i engine which will increase power and offer additional cooling measures for the twin turbo I6. Looking forward to see how much this Power package will cost.

| Wasn't there recent "new" rumour regarding a 1er M version... if so, i guess the SP version would no longer be valid.

| BUMP! All this next gen 1series stuff is making my head spin.  Lets finish take care of this generation. The car did debut in the U.S. 14months ago. Where is my SuperSports? If it was canned, I will cry. |

| the coupe is already based on the hatch facelift, so should we expect another facelift ? as far as i have understood the scenery, the supersport model is reserved for the next generation. but at the end of this generations 1series coupe we can expect a spicy version (ŕ la Mini Cooper JCW GP) |
