Updated iDrive for all 1er models

This is a discussion on Updated iDrive for all 1er models within the 1 Series forums, part of the BMW category; I have not found any pictures of the nav screen, which is supposed to be slightly different as well...please post ...

Updated iDrive for all 1er models






I have not found any pictures of the nav screen, which is supposed to be slightly different as well...please post them here...[thanks Ree!!!]

Also new engines for the cabrio:

118d: 4,9 liter diesel per 100 kilometer, CO2 129 gram per kilometer
123d: 7.5 sec 0-100 km/h

123d should be slightly faster than that, imo.

...thats sad, it really looks as if they have dismissed the pop up screen - i really liked it, it was a little bit of sci-fi everytime you press the start button...

I'm very happy with this. The old system looks much cheaper. This new one is nicely integrated. Very good, because I hate pop up screens

Two more photos!! Looks much more elegant and more like a quality product now!! Adds a lot to the interior in my opinion…but I wouldn't go for the nav-screen!! I love the composed interior design without any monitor.

I agree - screen is nicer obviously, but it doesn't look like it fits properly in with the interior... but I'll reserve final judgement till I see the real thing.
