For the vast majority, that is true. But I'm betting that quite a lot of people will. This is reflected in various threads on the 1addicts forum. In other forums (eg. S2000), some who were considering this car specifically cite the lack of a true LSD as the deal-breaker.
That BMW equips the 135i with 6-pot Brembos, sport suspension as standard, and even the E-diff is acknowledgement that some will drive these cars harder than most. Even the old E21, E30 318is and E36 ti hatch had available LSD, and those cars didn't make even half the hp nor half the torque; this was before advanced DSC, but still: the enthusiast who believed you could have something of a 4-passenger "ultimate driving machine" w/o buying into the whole M car ethos was satisfied.
This Performance Aerodynamic Kit should be aimed at maximizing performance, but instead much seems to be aimed at the ricer demographic. That's just sad IMO. It reeks of //
Marketing.
