Wow, that looks sweet. I heard CF (not the fake leather) was available for the M3, but first time I am seeing it. | | | | | Aficionado

Well it clearly is. That could be because the interior quality of the 3er is almost twice as high as the 1er. 1er has the worst quality interior of any BMW. The carbon in a 1er looks like a sticker with carbon print to me. | | | | | Me for President

You have to wait for a facelifted 3-series before you can say "twice as high", I doubt even after the facelift , its going to be "twice" as high. Twice as high, give me a break. and yeah, do not compare 1er to a M3, the interior in M3 is better than any normal 3-series.
You only seen some crappy photos on the 1er with carbon interior. The picture above they have put more effort on quality and lightning to make it look good. It all depends on the lightning, thats a very important tool for photographers. Wait for press materials or the car IRL before you judge. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Just_me For This Useful Post: | | | Aficionado

Let me just say this before you get pissed or anything:
I think the 1er is the coolest BMW to drive in, and I overall just love the car.
However, the quality of plastics and some more things is not on the same level as the 3er from my own personal extensive research. And imo this carbon inside the 1er just doesn't look good.
And you know what I mean with 'twice as high'. It's not literally meant
I do agree on the last sentence. Lighting is highly important, and can make a lot of cars look crappy because of the flash or something like that.
I'll wait for more, then. | | | | | Me for President

I'll wait for more, then. | Then I suggest you pay a visit to your dealer again and take a closer look at a facelifted 1-series. I suggest, you dont pick a basic 1er with no equipment at all, take one like mine, a 1er with M-package and compare it to a 3-series with same equipment. And you will notice the differences aren't huge.
Twice as high, you crazy Dutchman I told you before, stop taking the dopes your country has legalize
Yes, and wait until you seen the car before you throw poop on a 1er with carbonfibre trim. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Just_me For This Useful Post: | | | Aficionado

LOL
I did drive a 3-door 130i and I've sat in the 135i coupe though. Quality is indeed MUCH higher than the first pre-facelifted version.
I just like the alu like you have much more I guess | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to klier For This Useful Post: | | | Devotee

Although I like the Alcantara wheels, I can't say I'm a big fan of the LED's and stuff. It's a bit too gimmicky for me and probably really distracting too. | | | | | Devotee
