Just a quick question, is the 1er Coupe the only model in the BMW line-up which has that centre-positioned brake light on the outside of the car rather than just inside the rear-windshield?

It looks really good with that positioned on the lip of the Bangle Butt spoiler.. adds a more horizontal look to the rear which is important since the 1er Coupe is such a tall coupe for its length.

Have to also say BMW did a great job in creating an appealing rear-light design after VW stole their rear-light design from the CS1 Concept.

By having the rear-light as a one-piece design rather than splitting it in two, they've made it look a whole lot more aggressive. That really is one hott lookin' car!

I think the 6 series also has that (at least after the face lift - not sure about before the face lift).

Thanks Sunny and Tycoon for the info. Yeh, I just did a quick pic' search and my goodness does the facelifted 6er rear end look bad (IMO ofcourse), especially how they've added the brake-light smack-bang in the middle of that gorgeously sculptured Bangle Butt. Ruins the smooth flowing lines of the 6er's rear end.

I second that..other than that little detail,1-er coupe is almost perfect..
