1-serie sales in Sweden: 2006 vs 2007 (Jan-Oct)

In October 288 1er were sold (year 2006 same month, only 100 were sold), increase with 188%.

January - October 2007 , 1408 cars were sold. (Same period year 2006 only 862 1er were sold), increase with 63%.

Majority of the babybimmers are diesels.

Forgive my faulty memory, but was the 3-door 1er on sale during the same period in 2006? I wonder if it's addition has added to the 1er's appeal in the marketplace.

3-door is new, 1er also recently got a facelift and new engines and that helps of course but at least it goes in the right direction.
