Hi, does anyone believe that the bmw 123d is coming to canada? A friend of mine who works at a bmw dealership said that the owner said 123d will be coming next march. He called up bmw canada to see if there was any truth and he said they were not denying nor confirming it. He said BMW likes to be as secreative as possible to creat buzz for employees and consumers.

The thing is BMW jus had their press release for the 1 series but did not mention the 123d.

So what u think?

Various diesel models are set to enter NA market in 2008. But according to my info only I6 diesel engines will be included in the first bunch. But this is pre-1er-coupe-PR-launch info though, so ... There is still hope ...

I asked my salesperson if she knew which diesels were coming to Canada and when in 2008 as my lease is up in February and I'd like to look at getting one.

She told me that no official information has been released but I could expect to see the 5 series, X3 and X5 to get diesels in 2008.

As an aside, that's similar to the MB lineup in Canada where the E, ML, GL and R class have diesels.
